Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Land Rover Defender Specialist Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, your expertise will be pivotal in upgrading Land Rover Defenders (1991 - 2016), focusing primarily on the body work, chassis, running gear, and exterior/interior enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Chassis Knowledge: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of everything Land Rover Defender, ensuring a thorough grasp of its components and design.
Running Gear Mastery: Apply your expertise to optimise the running gear, including suspension systems, brakes, and steering, enhancing the vehicle's performance and driving experience.
Exterior Upgrades: Specialise in upgrading exterior components, such as body panels, trim pieces, lighting, and other accessories, transforming the vehicle's appearance while preserving its classic charm.
Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all upgrades meet the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
Efficiency and Time Management: Work efficiently to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks without compromising the quality of work.
Qualifications and Skills:
Extensive Experience: Proven experience as a technician, specifically with Defenders, with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience, particularly focusing on chassis, running gear, and exterior enhancements.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills and in-depth knowledge of Land Rover Defender models, with a focus on chassis, running gear, and exterior upgrades including upgrading body panels, trim pieces, lighting, and accessories to enhance the vehicle's appearance while preserving its classic character.
Attention to Chassis and Running Gear: Understanding and experience of Land Rover Defender chassis dynamics, suspension systems, brakes, steering mechanisms, and other running gear components.
Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently, meeting project deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and convey technical information clearly.
Work Ethics: Exceptional work ethics, including punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
