Do you have experience of providing high level support as a Personal Assistant? Are you looking for a challenging role which enables you to work across a diverse range of activities and with a variety of people? Can you work independently and proactively?

It is also important that we focus on quality to inform our research and resourcing strategy, and staff development, in order to develop a sustainable research portfolio. 

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) who will be part of a professional team that works collaboratively to ensure that all members of the management team are constantly supported to a high level. 

You will primarily support our C.E.O, by providing a high level of administrative support in an independent and self-managed capacity. 

You will also work with relevant departments such as Marketing and Design and partake in departmental meetings. 

You will have substantial experience as a PA to senior management and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be a strong team player and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently. Diplomatic and discreet in approach, you will be skilled at managing a complex workload accurately, including maintaining schedules and correspondence management.  

Job responsibilities 

  • Assist with new business development initiatives. 
  • Primarily support our C.E.O, by providing a high level of administrative support  
  • Assist senior management with administrative tasks. 
  • Assist the PR and marketing teams with issues and documentation. 
  • Plan and manage internal and external events such as exhibitions, trade shows, and launch events. 
  • Draft and proofread correspondence and documents. 
  • Set up and manage internal and external meetings, taking minutes and completing the necessary follow-up tasks. 
  • Ensure the movements of the senior management team are communicated to the relevant people. 
  • This list is not exhaustive and is meant to provide a guide only. You may be required to fulfil other duties depending on the need of the business. 

Profile 

  • Must possess a degree in a field such as Law, Finance, Business, or a relevant qualification. 
  • LPC is desired, but not essential. 
  • The ability to communicate with various stakeholders. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
