Job description

We are an Automotive Design House specializing in Land Rover, Jeep, Mercedes, and other luxury vehicle brands. We have an exciting opportunity for an Auto Electrician to join our team.

As part of a team of professionals, you will undertake the dismantling and reassembly of vehicles to an extremely high standard, ensuring that the stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards.

The successful candidate must:

  • Experience in a workshop-based role, ideally working on vehicles.
  • A qualification a vehicle technician.
  • Be able to check and test vehicle parts.
  • The ability to read and understand build specifications.
  • Be able to manage their workload, particularly during busy periods.
  • Be positive and self-motivated with good communication skills.
  • Have a high attention to detail.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out the installation of equipment to vehicles as required.
  • Diagnose faults and conduct repairs in a timely manner.
  • Testing of all equipment within the vehicle before it is ready to leave site.
  • General fitting and dissembling of wheels and tires.
  • General Workshop duties
  • Fitting Body Kits/exterior panels
  • General vehicle electric work.
  • Any other duties as required by the workshop manager.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet targets.
  • Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to self-manage work to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is essential.
  • Full driving license.

Our Workshop is fast-paced and exciting with lots of opportunities to make an incredible difference and apply your expertise and skill. In the job of Technician, you will be stripping and fitting different marques of vehicles. This means performing repairs to an extremely high standard. It is also important for you as a Technician to fully understand different manufacturers' literature and bulletins so you are fully up-to-date.
