We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Head of Business, the Supply Chain Manager, will be responsible for ensuring automotive parts are delivered into stock on time whilst interacting with the wider business on engineering, production and planning.
The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related discipline. In addition, proven managerial and supply chain experience, outstanding communication skills, excellent attention to detail, IT literacy and excellent time management are prerequisites.
Previous automotive experience, while not essential, is strongly advantageous.
Job responsibilities include:
· Generate weekly stock usage reports with monthly reporting activities.
· Knowledge of supply chain tools and systems including Zoho is advantageous.
· Communicating and relationship building/maintenance with vendors (including overseas).
· Sourcing new suppliers and products.
· Assisting R&D in ordering and bringing new products into stock.
· Managing new product introductions at the system level
· Arranging sea shipments with chosen logistics suppliers.
· Processing shipping documents and delivery notes.
· Booking into stock, processing amendments to records, order processing and creating purchase orders.
· Communication with other departments including information on stock arrival schedules & new product introductions.
· Assembling monthly accrual calculations of freight and warehousing expenditure.
· Maintaining in-house records accurately.
· Coordination with support functions to resolve any open accounts or stock related issues.
· Produce progress reports and other custom reports when required.
· Regular reconciliation of system stock vs. warehouse stock.
· Data analysis and reporting on trends.
