We are seeking an experienced UK Car Parts Supply Chain Manager to assist us in fulfilling the business potential of our automotive brand.
Reporting to the Head of Business, the role will require a driven individual with the ability and aptitude to join a well-established supplier of automotive aftermarket parts, operating across the UK, Europe, Asia, United States and the Middle East.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management including stock control, procurement and supplier relationships.
The Candidate
· A proven background within an inventory, supply chain or procurement role.
· Previous experience of the automotive parts industry.
· First-class understanding of supply chain principles, inventory and procurement.
· Negotiate & influence through strong communication & interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
· An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a problem-solving outlook.
Inventory Management
· Develop and implement strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise excess.
· Conduct regular stock audits.
· Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Procurement
· Source (both on demand and proactively), purchase and roll out automotive parts from both UK-based and global suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and pricing agreements.
· Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
· Analyse market trends and product availability to mitigate supply chain risks.

Stock Control
· Track movement of parts, monitor stock levels and prevent stockouts.
· Coordinate with sales and operations to forecast demands and adjust inventory.
· Implement measure to reduce stock shrinkage and identify discrepancies.
