KAHN® Design introduces the Hammerhead RS Forged Wheel in 22-inch, created exclusively for the Land Rover Defender L663.
A bold new chapter in Kahn’s off road wheel design language, the Hammerhead blends advanced engineering with a striking sense of form and presence, giving the modern Defender a powerful and unmistakable stance.
Developed as a natural evolution of the iconic Huntsman wheel for the classic Land Rover Defender, the Hammerhead refines that established design DNA through a lighter and more technical architecture tailored to the demands of the latest Defender platform.
At the centre sits a punched nine spoke configuration, framed by an outer ring of eighteen secondary spokes inspired by Kahn’s G06 wheel. The composition creates a turbine-like form reminiscent of the fan driven wheels seen on classic Dakar Rally vehicles, combining motorsport heritage with contemporary Defender styling.
A stepped outer lip introduces additional depth and incorporates a precision groove that allows for custom paint separation across the rim, echoing the detailing found on the original Huntsman design. Chamfered spoke edges add a rugged mechanical character, while subtle debossed KAHN® branding completes the face with a confident yet refined signature.
Manufactured using advanced RS-Forged wheel construction, the 22-inch Hammerhead wheel for Land Rover Defender L663 is engineered for serious capability. With a total vehicle load rating of five tonnes, it provides the strength required for demanding off road terrain, expedition builds and specialist Defender projects.
