The global vehicle design and manufacturing company which has been serving discerning motorists from its Bradford Headquarters for 20 years is on the move.

Afzal Kahn, owner and CEO of the KAHN® Group of Companies, recently announced the business would be moving out of its HQ on Canal Road.

Set back from one of Bradford's busiest thoroughfares, Kahn HQ sits amongst a plethora of car dealerships.

However, ‘dealership' would not be doing justice to the building which has been put on the market and comes with a price tag of offers of over £1.7 million despite £2 million having been invested in order to construct the building in 2004.

Indeed, the outside does not reflect its automotive persuasions either; clad in smoky blue panels with deep black tinted windows, the building has a particular attitude that makes the surrounding dealerships look glaringly ordinary. 
 

Every element of the the building was designed with modularity in mind, enabling the space to be adapted or extended to meet just about any business needs from storage to events companies.

Planning permission was also previously granted to construct an additional second floor to the site, meaning that the square footage of the building could be significantly increased.

Afzal Kahn said he was ‘grateful, even moved' by the way the business has grown with a worldwide following: “It is extremely rare that a highly-visible, prominent site such as this comes onto the market and we are already seeing considerable interest.
 

“I would like to thank our loyal customers and friends who have, and continue, to support us. The premises was built to my exact specification in 2004 and has been mistaken for a newly built facility by many, such is the quality of the building. 

“This has been home to the KAHN® Group of Companies for around 20 years, and although we will be leaving many great memories behind, it is someone else's turn to take on this iconic site which has been featured on everything from the BBC's The One Show, Super Car Megabuild, Channel 4, Channel 5 and so many other news and TV outlets around the world, such is the status of this building.
 

“We have hosted some very prominent individuals here from a variety of industries along with journalists who have flown in from all corners of the world to interview me and test drive vehicles. We have prepared cars for prestigious motorshows such as Geneva, at this very showroom along with the design of award winning vehicles.”

The headquarters holds a ground floor and first-floor showroom, design centre, offices, trim shop, full workshop, tyre fitting bay, gym and canteen. 

Located 1.5 miles from the City Centre, the ground floor consists of over 900 sq m (inclusive of a lower mezzanine floor 88 sq m), 564 sq m (showroom), 331 sq m (office) and 64 sq m (store).
 

The new Headquarters will perfectly complement our flagship showroom in Chelsea creating both northern and southern destinations for the KAHN® brands.
