Kahn Design proudly presents the Fiat 500e Designio Rosso, a striking evolution of the Designio programme that redefines the boundaries between Italian performance flair and British craftsmanship. Finished in a vivid Rosso exterior, this edition represents the latest expression of Afzal Kahn’s vision, uniting Italian emotion with the precision and innovation that define modern British automotive design.
Developed by British designer Afzal Kahn, the Designio Rosso distills the energy, elegance, and purpose of Italy’s most iconic performance marques into the form of a contemporary electric city car. The result is an intelligent reinterpretation of the Fiat 500e, one that feels every inch a grand tourer in spirit, yet refined for urban life.
A Contemporary Expression of Cross-Cultural Design
This latest creation builds on Kahn’s earlier Designio prototype, which first introduced the brand’s bespoke styling language. The Fiat 500e Designio Rosso represents the first fully realised production iteration, embodying every exterior and interior enhancement now available within the Designio range.
Externally, its deep Rosso paintwork is complemented by bonnet stripes inspired by limited-series Italian performance models, while the red-detailed lower grille references the sculpted intakes of modern grand tourers.
Black ground-effect detailing adds a purposeful, aerodynamic aesthetic, a subtle homage to the 1980s icons that inspired generations of enthusiasts.
The composition is unmistakably Italian in spirit, yet distinctly Kahn in execution, harmonising performance influence with British restraint and precision.
Design Language and Detail
Signature yellow-gold Designio shields grace the front wings and tailgate, symbolising heritage, craftsmanship, and performance lineage. A satin black diffuser and shadow-tint lighting bring balance and depth, combining aggression with a refined silhouette that commands presence without excess.
Inside, the cabin exemplifies British luxury innovation. The bespoke tan vegan leather interior, hand-finished by Kahn’s master craftsmen, pays tribute to traditional Italian grand touring design. Every surface — from the quilted seats to the 3D modular panels, has been reupholstered in fine sustainable materials, reflecting Kahn’s pursuit of progressive design and material integrity.
