Chelsea Truck Company Unveils the One-of-One Defender 90 London Motor Show Edition
Chelsea Truck Company is proud to present this exclusive build, the Defender 90 London Motor Show Edition (2016), a one-off creation celebrating the end of Land Rover Defender production and showcased in collaboration with the London Motor Show.
Finished in Santorini Black, this special edition Defender has been reimagined with a purposeful, muscular stance. Front and rear wide wings in Satin Black with body-coloured arches feature integrated vents and exposed bolt apertures, instantly sharpening the silhouette. The transformation continues with a bespoke front bumper featuring integrated lighting and a sump guard, complemented by the signature X-Lander grille, mesh bonnet vents, and subtle Kahn Design vinyl stripes.
Sitting beneath the bold bodywork are 9.0" x 20" Mondial wheels in Volcanic Black, wrapped in 275/55/20 tyres for a commanding presence. Burnt Orange Metallic brake calipers, a twin cross-hair exhaust system, and heavy-duty mud flaps underline the Defender’s balance of performance and durability, while at the rear, the look is completed with a Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover.
Inside, the cabin has been elevated to a level of craftsmanship rarely seen in the Defender. GTB front and rear seats in Hield Fabric provide a unique blend of luxury and heritage, with matching fabric fillets woven throughout the interior. The detailing continues with a bespoke centre glove box, passenger dashboard, handles, door panels, instrument binnacle, and boot panel, alongside a Churchill timepiece, sat nav, reverse camera, Kahn billet and leather steering wheel, four-speed automatic gearbox, and vented machined aluminium foot pedals.
This one-off build is further distinguished by a bespoke automatic gearbox conversion, transforming the driving dynamics of the Defender. The upgrade delivers effortless usability and a smoother, more refined driving experience, seamlessly bringing this legendary 4x4 into the 21st century while preserving its unmistakable character.
