This Season's Must Have: Chelsea Truck Company Black Hawk Edition

The Chelsea Truck Company Black Hawk Wide edition looks like it came straight out of a Captain America movie.

Ever since the vehicle was first launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, it has caught the imagination of discerning customers and petrol heads alike.

Allow The Chelsea Truck Company to tell you a little more about one of Afzal Kahn's most famous designs.

What is it?

People cannot stop comparing the Black Hawk edition to the company's Land Rover Defender and Mercedes G Wagon models.

This is due to the new utilitarian and aggressive looking wide wheel arches, that are comparable to the front wings affixed to the 110 and 90 and Mercedes models.

A redesigned slim line four slot grille and bumper assembly sitting between Shadow Chrome headlights makes the Black Hawk Edition so appealing, whilst the Iron Man bonnet gives the Jeep Wrangler a distinctive look, enhancing the aggressive silhouette of the vehicle.

Driving

The Black Hawk is the car to be seen in, those “7.5 x 17” Kahn wheels with 245x75x17” all terrain tyres, painted brake calipers and a quad cross-hair exhaust system only serve to increase the vehicle's popularity.

The 3.6 litre engine develops 280bhp and 256lb ft for a more refined and higher performing drive, whilst the 2.8 engine, the wrangler will cover 0-62 mph in 10.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 107mph.

Furthermore, emissions are rated at 213g/km and Jeep quotes and official 29mpg on the combined cycle.

On the Inside

Inside, one will find a sumptuous custom-tailored leather interior.

Both the front and rear seats are adorned with soft quilted and perforated leather with contrasting top stitching. The same leather design is also fitted to the centre glove box and arm rests.
