We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Manager to join our team.
As part of a team of professionals, you will undertake the dismantling and reassembly of vehicles to an extremely high standard, ensuring that the stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards.
The successful candidate must:
- Experience in a workshop-based role working on vehicles.
- Paint and body work knowledge
- Computer literate
- Organised and efficient
- Be able to check and test vehicle parts.
- The ability to read and understand build specifications.
- Communicate with the sales team in order to ensure customer vehicles are dispatched in good time and built to the correct specifications
- Be able to manage their workload, particularly during busy periods
- Be positive and self-motivated with good communication skills
- Have a high attention to detail
- 5 years of automotive experience
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out the installation of equipment to vehicles as required.
- Diagnose faults and conduct repairs in a timely manner.
- Testing of all equipment within the vehicle before it is ready to leave site.
- Managing the entire workshop
- Fitting Body Kits/exterior panels
- General vehicle electric work
- Managing and liaising with trim shops, body shops and vehicle wrappers
- Managing the logistics in relation to moving cars to third party workshops and showrooms.

- Knowledge of the automotive industry is essential.
- Full driving license.
