If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Manager to join our team.

Leading the workshop team, you will lead the process of dismantling and the reassembly of Chelsea Truck Company and Project Kahn vehicles to an extremely high standard, ensuring work is carried out in a professional manner and quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in a workshop-based role working on vehicles.
  • Paint and body work knowledge
  • Computer literate
  • Organised and efficient
  • Be able to check and test vehicle parts.
  • The ability to read and understand build specifications.
  • Communicate with the sales team in order to ensure customer vehicles are dispatched in good time and built to the correct specifications
  • Be able to manage their workload, particularly during busy periods
  • Be positive and self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Have a high attention to detail 5 years of automotive experience

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out the installation of equipment to vehicles as required
  • Diagnose faults and conduct repairs in a timely manner
  • Testing of all equipment within the vehicle before it is ready to leave site
  • Managing the entire workshop
  • Fitting Body Kits/exterior panels
  • General vehicle electric work
  • Managing and liaising with trim shops, body shops and vehicle wrappers
  • Managing the logistics in relation to moving cars to third party workshops and showrooms.


  • Highly organised. Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proactive and driven. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet targets. Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations. Ability to self-manage work to deadlines. Knowledge of the automotive industry is essential. Full driving license.
