This is the superlative expression of the Land Rover Defender - tougher, faster and more recognisable than any of its contemporaries. True to the Defender's British heritage, the 105 Longnose has been designed and prototyped in Kahn's Bradford headquarters, and will be produced entirely in the UK.
The project is the culmination of a vision to take the iconic Land Rover Defender and further enhance the aesthetic, performance and handling of one of the very best four wheel drive vehicles to have been produced.
The Longnose Pickup has an elongated chassis and an extra 400mm of bodywork just ahead of the windscreen, hence the 105 designation. With a tuned 2.2-litre engine which, at 170 BHP, develops over 25 percent more power than a standard Defender, it offers on-road performance to match its off-road capabilities.
All of Kahn's coachbuilt vehicles are hand crafted using traditional methods in very limited numbers. Not only are they a joy to look at and drive but also represent an excellent investment opportunity; appealing to purists, speculators and collectors alike.
