THE FLYING HUNTSMAN 6 X 6 LONGNOSE

Afzal Kahn and his team of designers, engineers and craftsmen spent thousands of hours in research and development to create the Flying Huntsman 6x6 Longnose, a unique vehicle which celebrates and builds upon the personality of the Land Rover Defender.

Combining traditional techniques with superb craftsmanship and engineering expertise, Kahn has created an instantly recognisable, aggressive-looking vehicle boasting genuine 6-wheel drive capabilities. A fitting tribute to one of the world’s best loved vehicles, the coachbuilt 6x6 Longnose made its international debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

At 1280mm longer and 150mm wider than a standard Defender, the 6x6 Longnose also features a comprehensive range of mechanical and stylistic upgrades that give it a striking appearance and dramatically enhanced capabilities, both on-road and off-road. With a 6.2-litre General Motors LS3 V8 generating an estimated 430bhp, it features the kind of explosive performance not normally associated with the original Defender.

Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of Kahn’s popular Chelsea Truck Company vehicles, the Defender design language has been dialed up with a styling package consisting of 'Volcanic Rock' coloured paint, front and rear wide wheel arches and the Kahn signature X-Lander front grille.

All of Kahn's coachbuilt vehicles are hand crafted using traditional methods in very limited numbers. The 6x6 Longnose is constructed using hand-formed aluminium by our in-house team of engineers. Our coachbuilt vehicles are not only a joy to look at and drive but also represent an excellent investment opportunity, appealing to purists, speculators and collectors alike.
